Our center operates on three cores: Research, Clinical and Outreach cores
Research Core
The research core takes responsibilities for researches in the center. It sees to research design and execution as well as disseminating research findings through publications and community education. The core sees to the coordination and sourcing of research grants as well as the recruitment and funding of postdoctoral fellows in the centre.
Clinical Core
The clinical core oversees the clinical activities of the centre. The duties are essentially diagnosing and treatment of adult clients presenting with psychological problems and cognitive impairments. The clinical core team includes qualified clinical and counselling psychologists, attending physician, exercise physiologists, nutritionists, physical therapists and speech therapists.
Outreach Core
Outreach core oversees to the relationship between our centre and the community. They take the responsibility of organising outreach programmes like public lectures and symposia. They ensure that communities are well represented in information dissemination coming from researches in the centre. They are equally responsible to sourcing research participants from the community for the research core. They always liase with the research core to see towards participant recruitment for research.
